Thursday, April 27th, is National Tell a Story Day! So grab your Tot and the rest of the family and enjoy a day of storytelling! Tell your kids a story about a childhood memory, a book that you all love to read, or one from your imagination! Check out your local library and see if they are celebrating the special day with a story time for kids. Whatever you decide to do, don’t forget to link up about your time together and share it with us! We love to see what you’re up to here at the Gathering Place!

Happy Resurrection Day! It is my hope that you have a beautiful day remembering the day our Savior rose from the grave and conquered death! Whether it be with a rousing egg hunt with the kids, a lovely brunch with the grandparents, or an Easter dinner with the family don’t forget to share with us all the fun you had with your Tot! April is here!! We have made it through winter! Though I did see some of my friends up north are still having snow! I’m so sorry! Hopefully warm, sunny days aren’t too far behind! This Wednesday, the first Wednesday of April, is National Walking Day! It is part of the American Heart Association’s effort to promote walking as a healthy form of exercise and almost everyone can participate! So, if you aren’t snow bound, put on your sneakers and take a walk around with your Tot! And don’t forget to post to the Gathering Place all the fun activities you take part in with your Tot! We love to see what you’re up to!

Not only is this Friday the last day of March, but it is also National Crayon Day! What a great day to celebrate! Grab your Tot and a box of crayons and enjoy time coloring with one another! You could download some of my Easter coloring pages or just enjoy some free drawing!
