Thanksgiving ~ Just Color!

Just Color Thanksgiving

Ladybug and Krash love to color, which is new for me since PacMan disliked it as a younger child.  There are days when I can’t get enough coloring pages printed out for them, let alone hop online and download one page at a time like most coloring freebies online are.

I plan to take the idea of “Just Color!” and make simple theme packs all focused around coloring.  There are mostly coloring pages, and a few coloring activities {color by word, color by #/letter, find and color, count and color, etc.}.

The coloring pages are all in one download to make it easier to download and print all at once, in case you have coloring monsters like I do!

It made sense for me to begin with Thanksgiving coloring activities as my first set, and I have many more already in the works!  I hope many of you who have coloring fans like I do will enjoy these printables!

Remember, if you want to make a mini coloring book, you can always scale down PDF files!

Calendar Connections ~ Thanksgiving Updated

Last year we released the Thanksgiving Calendar Connections cards. This year the date of Thanksgiving changes, so there needed to be an update.  Making one new card would be nice, but the date of Thanksgiving throws off the rest of the set, so I went ahead and made pages at the end for the next 3 years too.  While I was at it, I made the premium set {with the color border and prints front to back, that we usually sell}.  I did not make the eBook and will not have time to get that done in time, so there will be no bundle {sorry, time slipped away from me and it is too late now!}.

Thanksgiving Calendar Cards

The premium version of the new Thanksgiving Calendar Connections cards updated for 2012-2015 can be downloaded on the main Calendar Connections webpage, for FREE! Just scroll down to the Thanksgiving section.

The facts are written at a 3-6th grade level but you will be able to water them down for younger kids. It’s a great way to involve your entire family in exploring a particular theme.

NOTE: these DO print front to back, as they are the premium design.

I updated the small set for 2012 only, will change those each year, since they are easier to switch around!  The 2012 version is on the site also.

The cards fit my particular pocket chart calendar.image

but you could use a poster foam board and velcro to easily create your own set up. You could also use a standard pocket chart.

You can use most of our Calendar Connections cards for any month! We now have 13 sets to choose from, and we will still be adding more too!

Tot School ~ Thanksgiving

I do believe every photo is of Ladybug in her jammies.  We like it that way around here, especially in the winter when her footie pajamas are so stinking cute!  Daddy is in charge of dressing her each morning and he has been leaving her jammies on lately simply because he thinks they are way too cute to take off.

We often think her Medusa bed-head is cute too and will leave her hair all messed up for the morning too. Here she was sporting her fancy hair and jammies while tracing her W in her dry erase center, with her fancy new click Expo marker, which she LOVES.IMG_6979

We LOVED the I Know an Old Lady printables we used!  IMG_6919

I printed the magnets and we used our cookie sheet along with our storytelling.  Ladybug really enjoyed this.  Here we were reading the “10 layer cake” part, Pac had a hold of my camera while I was teaching the littles!IMG_6929
