Number Coloring Printables

Free Number Coloring Printables 1-10

We have a new set of number coloring printables in our All 123s section!  This set could be used in a variety of ways.  Your child could color the number and the animals, practicing number identification, number writing and 1:1 correspondence while counting. Get out play dough and make the number and then roll dots for each animal for a hands on way to practice counting. Scale the pdf file down and use them as smaller flashcards. Print full size and use as posters when your child is learning each number.

Letter Mazes A-Z ~ Subscriber Freebie

I have a new Subscriber Freebie for all of you who subscribe to the blog {details are below if you are unclear of what it means to subscribe or how to subscribe}.  I have been working on the individual Letter Mazes for quite some time now and am thrilled to say that they are all finished!

 Letter Mazes Bundle

I even made some edits thanks to a few tips from a few of you who are using them.  I will continue to offer the individual files for FREE here, but will be selling the bundle of all letters A-Z in my Teacher’s Notebook Shop soon.  BUT, you can get it for FREE through May 31, 2012 if you are a blog subscriber!

Not sure what to do with these?  Here are a few ideas for you in this post about the letter mazes!IMG_6655

The Letter Mazes A-Z Bundle will only be offered for free with a special link at the bottom of the daily 1+1+1=1 email or RSS feed every day through May 31, 2012.  It won’t be anywhere else right now!  Eventually the set will be for sale, so get it for free now while you can!

If you don’t subscribe yet, just click here for email and then be sure to confirm your email address once you get the initial email from Feedburner {be sure to check your spam folders if you can’t find the email}.  If you’d rather read in an RSS reader like Google Reader, just click here!  If you have any questions, just leave me a comment!  I am grateful for all of you who follow here regularly and hope this freebie blesses you!

Color By Number A to Z

I finally completed the entire Color By Number A-Z set!  I added all of the individual coloring sheets for each letter to the webpage, all can be downloaded for FREE as individual files, here on my wesbite. The color words are written in the colors so they can easily be used for preschoolers.  To use for Kindergartners, who are reading color words, just print in gray scale!

For those of you who like the convenience of a bundle download and like supporting our family, I created a bundle option, which includes an extra-2 sets of letter flashcards-one in color and one in BW.  You can buy the bundled set for $1.25 in my new Teacher’s Notebook shop!

I set up a Teacher’s Notebook Shop for a few bundled sets I am putting together.  Many of you have asked for this, so I am putting those items there. My program bundles {You Can Read, RRSP, Animal ABCs, and Members Only PowerPoint} will remain for sale on my own website.  You can see more about the items I sell on my blog here.

Remember, you can download the Color by Number A-Z files for free here, OR you can purchase the bundle here

Krash enjoyed using many of these coloring sheets while he was working through Raising Rock Stars Preschool.

Alphabet Mazes

I have seen these before {years ago when teaching} and was recently reminded of this activity when I saw this adorable Letter A maze on one of my new favorite sites www.Education.com.  This version had a few too many letters for Ladybug and since she was my target student I got to work.  I actually started the entire process creating just PowerPoint shows, which I am still working on.  I then decided to make a printable set also.  These are taking me awhile, so I don’t have the entire set done and I don’t know when I will.  There is a PowerPoint set in the works too, which will be available to members when it is complete.

I have completed all of the mazes, you can download them individually for FREE here!

There is also a bundled set available in my Teacher’s Notebook Shop, if you want them all in one download.

Here’s a few photos to show you a few various ways you could use them…

Use a cookie sheet and pom pom magnets…IMG_6655

Use the Crayola Dry Erase Center along with thin Expo markers, or a sheet protector.  Have an older child write the actual letters…IMG_6659

Draw a line…IMG_6660

A younger child could simply color on each of the letters…IMG_6663

If you don’t plan to reuse the same sheet, print in fast draft and use dot paint or tiny stickers…IMG_6665
