Tot School ~ Letter J

Here are some Letter J and Jellyfish ideas for you…

 

She seems to be over the whole dry erase thing, so we are using markers on paper, which she loves.

She also loves glitter, so we are pulling that in a lot {which I don’t love}.

We changed up the coloring and used paint instead!

Here she is working on Letter Jj Dot Fun, first she colored in all of the dots.  This set is included in the Animal ABC Bundle, or you can purchase the set as a stand alone set for $1.25 on Teacher’s Notebook.

Then she watched as I traced each letter with glue, then she glittered them!

We slipped our Play Dough Mat into our Dry Erase Center, and made the letters together.  After making the letters, she poked them!

She worked with me to make the letter craft, which is basically an open ended project that you can do whatever you want with!  This week I let her marble paint the letter sheet before I cut it out, she LOVED this!

She cut the jellyfish all on her own this week!

She also glued them all on her own too, she’s getting so big!

We are taking our All About Reading Pre Level 1 lessons slowly.  I am not expecting mastery from Ladybug, just using this program as a way to expose her to the Big Five Skills.

This week we did lesson 10, continuing our work with rhyming words.  No photos of that part this week!

I tried out the free version of the app, Letter School and fell in LOVE, so I bought it for Ladybug!  Best full price purchase I have made in awhile, if not ever, for our iPad!

She uses her finger as shown above and also uses our stylus some, she loves both.  This app has become a FAST favorite, she chooses it a LOT and I love it!
