Moments to Remember was developed as a simple way to look back on our week as homeschoolers and find photos that encompass the memories we want to remember.The week may have been tough, there may have been more bumps than smiles, but in the end these are the moments that keep us going, the ones we need to remember.
Many of my favorite moments recently have come thanks to our iPad! I have filled our book collection and the kids are reading together ALL THE TIME! I honestly had no clue if they would even like books on the iPad, they most certainly do!
Their most favorite books at the moment:
Toca Store is a new one to us and I LOVE this app. Sure it is fun, but what I really love is that it is wonderful for 2 kids to play together! One kid is the “cashier/store owner” and one kid is the “customer".” We have already had so many teachable moments during play with this wonderful app!
Our precious little orphan kitten ~ who now has a name, Izabella ~ has been a huge part of our lives.
Sadly, she is not doing well at all, I have been sharing in detail on my Facebook page, here and here. Things are going downhill as she continues to vomit her feedings and is slowly losing weight. She keeps down some feedings, shocking us all. She also purrs, walks around, and sleeps peacefully. Honestly the whole situation is so confusing – one minute I am certain she won’t make it, and then I am clinging to hope ~ truly believing she will!
We aren’t giving up though, only God know the outcome and we are loving on her and fighting for her. We are well aware that her time with us will most likely be very short, but we are still so thankful for her, she has been an unexpected gift to all of us.
