Better late than never!  I think this just might be the very first time I posted Tot School this late!  I was too busy celebrating yesterday and too busy cleaning up and hanging out with the kids in the sunshine today!

Learning Toys

Krash asked to get out his Leapfrog magnet sets, and he wanted both of them! IMG_3554 copy

He used his big pointer finger to pound in his letters this time… IMG_3577 copy

He made an airplane using his bristle blocks! IMG_3690 copyHe did some lacingIMG_3743 copyWe played ABC & 123 Jingo for the first time!  He really enjoyed it and did great! IMG_3757 copyI made our box filled with ping pong balls this week and added in some tubes.  He had GREAT fun exploring with this! IMG_3584 copyWe added Erin’s awesome shapes to our daily calendar routine.  He chooses a shape of the day and walks around the schoolroom looking through his little shape window and finds something to match the shape!  I LOVE these things, so does he! Tiny Tot SchoolLadybug had tons of fun exploring STRING this week!  I cut longs strands of yarn and bunched it all together in a ball and gave it to her.  She was SO funny to watch as she pulled it all apart and worked to get it untangled! IMG_3590 copyShe also loved it when Pac Man dangled it in front of her…serious eye-hand coordination going on here! ;-)IMG_3864 copy 2

She still loves to read and we recently found this old book of Pac Man’s and she LOVES it!IMG_3816 copy

She is very into the Itty Bitty I Spy Bag too!IMG_3789 copyShe played with our Ikea cups a lot this week! IMG_3766 copy Pac Man built her a spinny thing with the bristle blocks and showed her how to spin it, she loved this!IMG_3849 copyShe is up on all 4s now!  She still mainly scoots on her belly, but she can get on all 4 and she can also sit herself up now!IMG_3833 copy

Life School

I saw a neat experiment in my Family Fun magazine, so we tried it!  Oil-water-food coloring and an Alka Seltzer Antacid tablet {except I missed the word “antacid” and used a cold Alka Seltzer, it sorta worked}. We got a few green bubbles to come up…IMG_3885 copyKrash enjoyed when I told him to shake as hard as he could! IMG_3903 copy
