He LOVED viewing his Letter Jj PowerPoint show up on the wall with our new projector!!!  If you are thinking of a reasonably priced projector, we recommend this one!  We took a chance and are VERY happy with it!IMG_7839

Here you can see my latest solution to his boundless amount of energy.  I let him jump {got it at Target a few years ago} while he watched his shows!  He loved it!  Here he was doing the Ordinal #s show

Our letter this week ~ Rr, our verse: Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.Rr

Here he is coloring his verse page.  Even though this chair position drives me NUTS, I love this picture.  I certainly don’t laugh in the moment, but looking back it makes me giggle.  He is always doing this!!!

He really enjoyed the Rr search from COAH, even searching for words he can recognize after he searched for the letter R…IMG_6823

We played with our animal puzzles, after making the puzzles we flipped them over and he found the word I yelled out.IMG_6747

He was very proud of his towersIMG_6859

Getting buried in bean bags I much more fun than using them how Mommy had intended to use them.IMG_6878

I wrote a large Rr on our easel and all week we added things that start with the letter R. Pac Man is our big artistic contributor to this!  Krash enjoys when we add stickers!

Magneatos got a lot of play time…IMG_6696

The Valentines Day Sensory Bin continued to be enjoyed.  Krash made a contraption for his cars!!!IMG_6657We used different items to make the letter Rr…IMG_6679He lined and counted a lot!IMG_6685

His new FAVORITE…iPod School Time!!!  I found a few new apps for him now that he has advanced some.  He still loves TeachMe Kindergarten, but his new favorite is definitely our Bob Books app!!IMG_6916

He was sick recently and this was the moment it hit him.  After playing on the iPod for awhile, I found him passed out sound asleep in our big bean bag.  That’s when I knew he was really sick-he never does that!IMG_6920-2

Moms favKrash was pretty sick for about 4 days and was pretty pitiful.  On another evening, I found him like this after I had went upstairs to put L-bug to sleep. 😉IMG_7008

This is the main section of our preschool posts-focusing on what we do for our Raising Rock Stars Preschool Curriculum. I am not sharing photos of each part every week, just what I happen to catch! We do the entire unit even if I don’t show it here in the photos!

Our letter this week ~ Bb, our verse: Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.Bb

We are working on the sight word portion of RRSP now more than ever, as he finally has a natural interest! Here he made the word using letters from our floor puzzle, as he looked at the mini card and the verse page.  He then found the word in the verse.

IMG_6418

I had him build his verse in our mini pocket chart before taping it together this week…IMG_6428

He colored the word “they” from our Color by Number Sight Word set…IMG_6478

I cut out the dove pieces for him as he cut out the verse.  Then we worked together to glue it all into the base sheet.  Something so simple but he really enjoyed this!IMG_6487

Here’s the photo of his work from the week before I cleared it off {links to the non-RRSP sheets are below}!IMG_6497

We began with a new idea this week, one that hit me moments before I went to bed the night before!  I wrote a large Bb on our easel and all week we added things that start with the letter B.  This was great for Ladybug too who knew B by the end of the week!!!  The photo on the right shows the day we dug through our sticker box to find things that start with B!

He really enjoyed the Bb search from COAHIMG_6426

When we first reviewed the Guidecraft Animal Train Sort and Match, Krash didn’t care for it.  I can say that has certainly changed!  He loves it now!  We have played with it in a variety of ways.  On the left he is trying to figure out which card I built while he wasn’t looking.  On the right he is building a “secret” card for me to figure out!

techy time

His new FAVORITE…iPod School Time!!!  I found a few new apps for him now that he has advanced some.  A very simple, very cheap favorite is TeachMe Kindergarten.  He started with TeachMe Toddler and it was too easy for him, so I bought the next one.  He is LOVING it!!!  Currently it is only 99 cents, SO worth it!!IMG_6332

Moms favMy baby boy got to try skiing for the first time!  We were given an amazing gift from a friend and the boys got to go away with Daddy for a few days! 😉IMAG0107

This is the main section of our preschool posts-focusing on what we do for our
Raising Rock Stars Preschool Curriculum. I am not sharing photos of each part every week, just what I happen to catch! We do the entire unit even if I don’t show it here in the photos!

Our letter this week ~ Pp, our verse: Praise the Lord!  For it is good to sing praises to our God!Pp

As he cut out each vocab card this week, I had him insert it into the cube.  We then used the cube to teach Ladybug the words!IMG_5511

Practicing his P…IMG_5694

Working hard on his craft.  First I had him choose 3 colors and color the music notes.  Then I cut them out and had him sort them by color,IMG_5698We made a few patterns together and then glued one onto the strip.IMG_5702

Ladybug joined him as he worked on his PowerPoint lesson.  His favorite portion is still the counting section.  He is really excited to get to 20!

Colored his P is for penguin color-by-number page.  I am sharing the webpage for these even though it is incomplete.  You can see the ones I have available currently here.IMG_5618

We made a P is for Penguin alphabet craftIMG_6074

We practiced writing BIG letters on our easel {it’s from Ikea}IMG_5621

He asked for his Batman Preschool Pack one day so we dug it out and had fun reviewing many of the materials!IMG_5514

We worked with his Alphabet Box again {thanks Counting Coconuts}, using 2 new sounds. I made a HUGE mistake and didn’t think at all about the ending sounds and really confused him with words like: soaP, and souP.  Poor guy was so confused when he sounded them out!  Isolating beginning and/or ending sounds is hard for him at this stage, so I wish I would have made it less frustrating for him at this point.  But we laughed it off and I helped him.  I have a video of him working on this coming soon!IMG_6060

The flash cards are from the preschool program {Little Lincoln} he uses through our cyber school {although I don’t write about it because I am not very fond of it and am really doing my own thing as you can tell}.  The flash cards are great though and we love using those.  When I find time, I will share why I am not entirely fond of the program, I just don’t have time for an in depth post about it now.

He doesn’t often choose blocks on his own; he prefers heroes, swords and such.  I “assigned” him Rainbow Blocks  time one day and he had a great time building! This was a rocket.IMG_5627

Moms favThe boys are taking Karate with a local homeschool group and LOVING it!!!  I love his little tongue in his cheek, every time he kicks! 😉IMG_5905
