See how we organize our weekly home preschool activities

We’ve been doing ABC Baskets for awhile now, and each week she seems to love them more.  Not sure why, but she is simply delighted with each new collection!

Home Preschool Letter Hh -3000

This week I set up a few trays with some of the contents {ABC Soup Can, puzzles, and phonics drawer}.Home Preschool Letter Hh -3011

With each new letter, we add one more felt piece to our ABC board.  Each week, I challenge her to put all of the ones we have done so far on the board.  This isn’t her favorite thing, but she does it with me.Home Preschool Letter Hh -3024

Our ABC Find It activities continue to be a favorite. We are using the printables 3 different ways, the first day I let her do a sensory bin search to find all of the little cards and match them to the poster.

Here she was drawing the word cards out of the bucket and helping me read them, matching them to the images on the table.Home Preschool Letter Hh -3169

I made a model H on one geoboard and then challenged her to copy mine.Home Preschool Letter Hh -3124

She happily did, she loves geo boards!

She then asked if she could make the letter H on ALL of the geo boards!Home Preschool Letter Hh -3127

She LOVED the letter h page, probably because I let her use shiny stickers to make the letter!!Home Preschool Letter Hh -3142

Her work all hung up at the end of the week…

Q Tip Painting Alphabet Printables

Q Tip Painting Alphabet Printables

I had a hunch that my daughter would really enjoy Q-Tip Painting, and I was right!  I created this Q-Tip Painting A-Z set and gave her one page.  She begged for more!

Q Tip Painting ABC Printables

My main goal in creating these was not only to add in letter ID, but also as a fun way to work on her pencil grip.  Somehow I began using the phrase “use your fairy grip” while doing these and it caught on.  I was aiming for the 2 finger delicate grip, rather than the whole fisted grip and when I called it the fairy grip she giggled and did it!

I also printed these for her, which she enjoyed!

Just found these My Little Pony Q-Tip printables too!  She will be so excited when I give these to her!

Please read this carefully before linking up! This may no longer be the linky for you, so please glance through this list to be sure you want to stick around and link up with us!
By linking up you agree to the following:
  1. A photo and a link to your post may appear in a future Tot School post. You give me permission to choose a photo from the post you link up, and give me permission to use your ideas in my post. I will link back to you, mention your blog, and give you full credit for any ideas choose to share form your post. If you don’t want me sharing photos, your blog, or ideas, please don’t link up.
  2. Your post is a post written specifically for Tot School and not just an idea for tots. It features your own child{ren} in action. This is a community for moms to come together and share their journey with Tot School virtually.
  3. Provide a link back to Tot School within your blog post {you can use this link: or a direct link to the weekly post you link up to} if you link up. If you do not link back to Tot School, your link will be deleted. Link backs on the sidebar, or in a massive “I link up here” page don’t count ~ they are too difficult for me to find and the first thing I look for when verifying links is the link back.
  4. Link up your exact Tot School post {not your blog homepage} if you are unsure how to do that read this!
Each week I will feature photo{s} and ideas from blogs who link up. Sometimes it may be one simple idea, sometimes it may be a collection based around a concept .

I wrote about my views on using themes with young kids, and there are certainly a LOT of early childhood themes to choose from! When you begin planning, Pinterest and Google can be a bit overwhelming! I am creating this series to help you with your planning. I have gathered all FREE theme based printable packs {mainly early childhood focused, tots-1st grade} that I am aware of and sorted them by letter so you can browse through and get ideas all in one place! I did NOT include holiday based packs, simply because there are so many and they are pretty easy to find when holidays roll around.

I have included free printable theme packs from bloggers around the web including; Homeschool Creations, 2 Teaching Mommies, Spell Outloud, 3 Dinosaurs, Confessions of a Homeschooler, Me & Marie Learning, Ooopsey Daisy, All Our Days, Creative Learning Fun, Royal Baloo, 123 Homeschool 4 Me, Lawteedah, Our Little Monkeys, Creative Preschool Resources, Our Country Road, Homeschool Share, Gift of Curiosity, This Reading Mama, and Over the Big Moon. {if any of you ladies notice an error/edit please let me know!}

If the pack was created by another blogger, I listed their {blog name} in the brackets. If there aren’t any brackets, I made it!
