Animal ABC Wall Posters

Animal ABC Wall Posters

One thing I wished I had when I was using Animal ABCs with Ladybug was a full size set of alphabet wall posters.  We are beyond Animal ABC but I thought maybe someone still using it might want something like this too, so I finished up the set I was working on, even though we won’t be using them!

I couldn’t decide on colored or simple, so I made 2 sets.  Each set features the main Animal ABC animal, which emphasizes the most common letter sound.

These are full size pages and could be used as an eBook, full size printables for the wall or a notebook, or you can scale down the pdf file to make them into a smaller set of flashcards or printables.

This set is included for free with the Animal ABC Bundle, and has been added to the private download page.  If you have already purchased you can go back in using the special link and password to download this new set.  If you lost your password, just email me and give me your PayPal email address and I can easily resend your info!

For those of you who don’t own the Animal ABC Bundle, you can purchase it here for $10, OR you can purchase this set by itself from my Teacher’s Notebook Shop here!

My Little Pony Printables

My Little Pony Printables[5]

It’s been a long time coming, but I finally have the My Little Pony printables done!  I could never find clipart I really liked, so I had to make my own and that takes much longer!  Ladybug will be having her pony week soon, but not quite yet, we have a few other themes ahead of ponies!  But, I knew many of you have pony fans and would want these ASAP!  I hope many girls and boys enjoy these!

We have this toy set and all of the ponies featured in the pack are photos of the ponies in this set, plus Spike the dragon since Ladybug loves him!

Learning Resources Family Counters

The new All About Me Family Counters from Learning Resources are adorable!

Learning Resources Family Counters

I was so excited to get these to review, and my excitement spread to my kids too, especially Ladybug and PacMan!

Learning Resources Family Counters

This set of 72 colorful counters features a variety of family members, including a kitty!  My kids wished there was a dog to complete our family too, but pretended one of the cats was a dog when they made us!

The bigger counters will hold the babies, look how cute…Learning Resources Family Counters

We have played with these numerous times, both to practice skills {patterning below-Pac was teaching Ladybug} and just for fun.  Ladybug played for about an hour straight with the counters one day, she loves them!

Learning Resources Family Counters

These are a perfect companion to reinforce and expose early math skills like colors, counting, patterning, and sorting.  I love that they are different colors and sizes, as the counting bears we have always used are all the same size.  Being able to add the size attribute is awesome!  If you are an early childhood teacher or have little ones at home, this would be a wonderful educational toy to add to your collection!

You can purchase these on Amazon here, and also directly on the Learning Resources website.

Learning Resources has a fun contest going on, read more here:!

Tot School Gathering Place ~ week 9

Gather together here, gather ideas from other blogs, share your own ideas on your own blog. Browse around at the other posts linked up, leave a few comments if you have time, and be sure to check back to see if your blog was featured!

We did Tot School in the highchair a lot, so this photo from Learners in Bloom brought back memories!  Combining toys like this, to expose new skills, is a favorite of mine!

So many adorable transportation ideas from Mountain Mama Teaching, like this letter A with cars!  Be sure to visit and see the rest of the great things they did!

Over at Nestpirations they had a circle theme week, and the ideas are fabulous, but my favorite is the first paragraph of the post. Momma shares about how different her girls are and about how she is learning to follow the lead of her child!  Great stuff!

Tot School Feature

<center><a href="" target="_blank"><img alt="I was featured for Tot School!" src=""/ ></a></center>

Please read this carefully before linking up! This may no longer be the linky for you, so please glance through this list to be sure you want to stick around and link up with us!
By linking up you agree to the following:
  1. A photo and a link to your post may appear in a future Tot School post. You give me permission to choose a photo from the post you link up, and give me permission to use your ideas in my post. I will link back to you, mention your blog, and give you full credit for any ideas choose to share form your post. If you don’t want me sharing photos, your blog, or ideas, please don’t link up.
  2. Your post is a post written specifically for Tot School and not just an idea for tots. It features your own child{ren} in action. This is a community for moms to come together and share their journey with Tot School virtually.
  3. Provide a link back to Tot School within your blog post {you can use this link: or a direct link to the weekly post you link up to} if you link up. If you do not link back to Tot School, your link will be deleted. Link backs on the sidebar, or in a massive “I link up here” page don’t count ~ they are too difficult for me to find and the first thing I look for when verifying links is the link back.
  4. Link up your exact Tot School post {not your blog homepage} if you are unsure how to do that read this!
Each week I will feature photo{s} and ideas from blogs who link up. Sometimes it may be one simple idea, sometimes it may be a collection based around a concept .
