Our second Kindergarten Literature Unit Study Printable Pack is ready! I have been busy developing behind the scenes and am excited to share our second unit with you.
My Cats Nick and Nora is a favorite book of Ladybug’s. She LOVES cats, which is the main reason she loves this book. If you have a child who loves cats, this unit might be a fun one for you.
In this printable unit you will find a sample lesson plan. I provide a lesson plan idea, but even I probably won’t follow this, it is just an idea. Make this work for you and your child!
For each unit, I am selecting Kindergarten math goals from our list. For this unit I chose graphing favorite pets, graphing balloon colors, and identifying coins.
Lots of literacy activities; Letter N sound, 3 part words cards with color words, sequencing the story, comprehension questions, rhyming fun, and sight words.
For our Science focus, children will sort and classify cats in many ways!
The character and Bible connection is focused on using polite and kind words with others.
Bible verses are available in a few different formats, choose the one you like best.
A Color By Number Cat for fun!
I share more ideas here on our Pinterest board for this unit. We are using many of the ideas I have pinned!
See books and toys to go along with this unit.
We will be sharing our unit study in action soon! We will also be sharing more free literature based printables soon too!
