Fall Fun ~ Just Color!

The idea behind Just Color! is simple ~ theme packs all focused around coloring. There are mostly coloring pages, and a few coloring activities. The coloring pages are all in one download to make it easier to download and print all at once, in case you have coloring monsters like I do!

I just added a new Fall Fun Coloring set!

Remember, if you want to make a mini coloring book, you can always scale down PDF files! If you have any problems downloading or printing these or other PDF files, see troubleshooting tips here.

Something Special ~ Music Time…Fall Leaves Songs

Fall Leaves Songs

For our weekly music time, we will be doing many of the same songs each week {which you can find here}, and I am also planning to add in some special seasonal songs. This week I chose a few FALL LEAVES SONGS from my former Kindergarten teaching days. I decided to make new printables for us and for you this time! I also included laminated leaves to use while singing {the leaves are on the last page of the PDF download for the songs}.

I printed our songs 2 per page and then mounted them to fall colored cardstock before laminating.

They all loved it! It was hard to take pictures, but I did get a few of them blowing their leaves at the end of one of the songs!

After we had our group time, I put the songs into a small basket with the leaves, some foam letters to spell L-E-A-V-E-S {I got the mini letter puzzles recently from Walmart for $1}, and some books about fall leaves.

We have been using our basket each day to review our songs and read our fall books too.

We love our fall books too! We own many of these and enjoy the others from the library!

Something Special ~ Falling Leaves Craft

Falling Leaves Craft

I went searching for another fall craft I could “handle” and found this adorable Falling Leaves Craft from No Time for Flashcards.

I made a simple leaf printable {which you can download here if you are artistically impaired like I am} and printed it on white cardstock.  I think I would have used a fall color as a base if I could reprint, the white is a bit…well, white.  But it does show their painting well.IMG_9507

The kids used a few different painting tools and enjoyed mixing up the fall colors.IMG_9518

I loved allowing them the freedom to mix and explore…or you know, make a mess. ;-) IMG_9512

Ladybug used dot paint for hers, and I also let her explore with the porcupine painters from Oriental Trading!IMG_9502

They also painted their spirals {which I drew ahead of time} and then I let everything dry before cutting it out and assembling them later in the day.  I then found the perfect spot for each craft and proudly displayed their falling leaves. The kids were really excited to see their creations swirling around!!!
