Bible Verse Printables ~ Letter C

RLRS Letter C Genesis 1 1 Bible Verse Printables

Our Raising Lil’ Rock Stars Bible Verse Printables for the Letter C are available to download for free!  C is for CREATED! This set is based on Genesis 1:1, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  This is one of the easier verse to explain to young children, and a shorter verse so easier to memorize!

We used the group version in my children’s church class of 4 & 5 year olds and really enjoyed it.

I am using the home bundle with Ladybug as a review, working on the verses again later on.  For example, in my class we are on the letter H right now, but at home we just worked on our review of letter C. She is in my children’s church class so she is getting the group teaching and then getting it again at home with me.

Here’s a peek at the work she did at home.

Here she was coloring the coloring page, she LOVES to color.  Again, she wanted to copy the poster graphic so you can see it sitting in front of her.

Color ~ Trace ~ Write the letter Bb…

She dislikes this page so I changed it up for her and we used glue and string for the first set of letters, she loved this!

Then, we used Wikki stix for the second set of letters, and she happily wrote the last set!

Cut and Glue the Verse ~ this is a great word work activity for her, identifying individual words and sounds she knows as well as the Bible verse as a whole. She uses the printable that has the light gray matching words on it.

RLRS Letter C -9571

I have been asked how we do this activity so I took a video to share what it looks like for her.  By the time we do this activity, she has the verse memorized which makes it easier.  If she didn’t I would read her each word and have her find the match.  You can easily adjust the difficulty level of this to meet the needs of your child. I shared a clip of this video on Instagram here!

We have a banner at church, which you can see a glimpse of here on Instagram. Here is  our home banner!

Bible Verse Printables Letter B

RLRS Letter B John 3 16 Bible Verse Printables

Our Raising Lil’ Rock Stars Bible Verse Printables for the Letter B are available to download for free!  B is for BELIEVES! This set is based on John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  This is a foundational verse in the Bible, and teaches kids some big words  like perish and eternal {depending on the version you use they may vary}.  We illustrate the word eternal by stretching our arms out wide and pointing on each end to show that it means never ending.

We used the group version in my children’s church class of 4 & 5 year olds and really enjoyed it.

I am using the home bundle with Ladybug as a review, working on the verses again later on.  For example, in my class we are on the letter F right now, but at home we just worked on our review of letter B. She is in my children’s church class so she is getting the group teaching and then getting it again at home with me.

Here’s a peek at the word she did at home.

Here she was coloring the coloring page, she LOVES to color.  Again, she wanted to copy the poster graphic so you can see it sitting beside her.

Cut and Glue the Verse ~ this is a great word work activity for her, identifying individual words and sounds she knows as well as the Bible verse as a whole. This verse is a bit longer so I cut the words out in rows for her and gave her one row at a time. She uses the printable that has the light gray matching words on it.

You can see her verse bracelet below.  She got one when we did it in Children’s Church awhile back too.  She wasn’t too interested in a photo so I had to steal one while she was playing!

RLRS Letter A Philippians 2 5 Bible Verse Printables

Our Raising Lil’ Rock Stars Bible Verse Printables for the Letter A are available to download for free!  This set is based on Philippians 2:5, “Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.”  A is for ATTITUDE!  This sure is a lesson I need right along with the children I teach!  Having a Christ-like attitude is a daily struggle for me personally.

We used the group version in my children’s church class of 4 & 5 year olds and really enjoyed it.

I am using the home bundle with Ladybug as a review, working on the verses again later on.  For example, in my class we are on the letter E right now, but at home we just worked on our review of letter A. She is in my children’s church class so she is getting the group teaching and then getting it again at home with me. Good thing she really likes it!

Here’s a peek at our home work {most of these printables are in the bundle version}.

Raising Lil Rock Stars Through the Bible A-Z ~ Introduction

Raising Lil' Rock Stars Through the Bible A to Z

I am beyond excited to share my latest “baby” with you.  Raising Lil’ Rock Stars Through the Bible A-Z has been in development for about 2 years now as I waited for God to guide the timing. It has been tons of work behind the scenes, and much prayer and planning has gone into this. Since I wrote the stories, I have even had my husband on board for Biblical editing help too!  My dear friend Shannon also assisted me.

I would like to introduce you to a brand new Bible based early childhood program, Raising Lil’ Rock Stars A-ZYup, similar name, because I believe strongly in the Rock Star vision and I cling to it when developing Biblical resources for kids.

Years ago I created RRSP and RRSK and have always wanted to develop a new program with new graphics, new verses, new stories {written by me}, a group version {to be used in Sunday School, Children’s Church, Co-Op} and also the ability to be used at home.

I will be releasing the FREE home based units over time, as I share them on my blog, but wanted to get the entire bundle finished so those of you who want it don’t have to wait! The first free unit comes out tomorrow!

I have images and descriptions on the info pages, you can scroll through and see what is included.  You can see everything included in the Home Bundle here.  See the Group Bundle here.  Here’s a peek…

The two bundles will both have extras {same in each} that won’t be free anywhere!

You can see everything included in the Home Bundle here.  See the Group Bundle here.

Once you purchase, you have access to any new extras added to the set.  You save your private link and password and can come back at anytime!

I have a FAQ page all set up for you, which has answers to questions such as…

  • What in the world does “Raising Rock Stars” mean?
  • Why NIV version?
  • What is the target age for this?
  • Why a new A-Z version?
  • What’s the difference between this new version {RLRS} and the RRSP and RRSK version?

You can read more about this new program on the Raising Lil’ Rock Stars homepage and here are more quick links for you…

Integrity Time Bible Review and Giveaway

Integrity Time Bible Review

{disclaimer ~ we were given Integrity Time Bible free of charge to review and have decided personally to use it as an ongoing part of our homeschool}

We have been using and LOVING Integrity Time Bible.  We reviewed Integrity Time here, and we enjoyed it also.  However, as a Christian family, the Bible version is an absolute perfect fit for us!  We have used lessons A, B and C so far.  I have personally read through a majority of the lessons already and begun preparing for the remainder.  As I said above, I love this so much we have decided to use it all the way through!  You will continue to see it on my blog in my Learning with Ladybug feature {since she is my target student for this}.

I keep all of the lesson PDFs on my iPad in iBooks.  This is a screenshot of my “Integrity Time” folder…

Integrity Time Bible

For each unit, I have printed out the verse, any object lesson printables, as well as the visual aid {usually a character}.  Below you can see letters A, B, and C.

Integrity Time -5203

Integrity Time -5506 Integrity Time Bible -6290

Ladybug absolutely loves the Bible characters.  Letter A was Jesus {having a Christ like Attitude}, Letter B was David {David’s behavior was the focus}, and Letter C didn’t have a character but a blocks graphic {to represent Christian Cooperation}. The character printables are BW so I lightly colored them in myself before laminating them.  I also hooked ours to a popsicle stick.

Integrity Time -5207 Integrity Time -5551

Each letter has a key verse that emphasizes the word.  Below you can see Ladybug proudly displaying her Letter A verse after coloring it.

Integrity Time -5223

Along with the word, verse, and character/image, there is also an object lesson to help reinforce the idea and verse. For Letter A we had verses about Jesus’ loving attitude that we used.

Integrity Time -5208 Integrity Time -5218

Integrity Time -5235

For Letter B we had a target, and we used this to talk about how even when we love God {as David did} we still often miss the target with our behavior.

Integrity Time -5555

Letter C stemmed off of the Tower of Babel and talked about cooperation along with building a tower together.

Integrity Time Bible -6309

We are adding this in as a part of Ladybug’s Character Education.  She struggles a bit in this area and I need something focused.  I have chosen to do one lesson per week, and have Krash join us.  He needs this too and enjoys the lessons.

Before each lesson, I read through the lesson on my iPad and make sure I understand the Bible lesson. You can see a full sample of the Letter A on the Integrity Time Bible site here.

Integrity Time Bible Seample Lesson

After I have prepared any printables and lesson items, I call the kids over and they sit as I read the lesson to them.  I do not read it word for word, as it is written to a class.  I adapt the lesson to be for home {easily done}.

There are way more printables included than we use, here are a few, you can click to enlarge them.

Keep in mind this program is written for a group setting, and would be wonderful for a Homeschool Co-Op, Sunday School, or Children’s Church class! There are parent sheets, handouts and more!  It is also very easy to adapt for home use.

If you are looking for a character education program, I highly recommend taking a look at Integrity Time Bible.
