We spent the week at the beach, and head home tomorrow. Funny how Tot-School occurs everywhere, even at the beach…tots are always learning! Here’s a few highlights of learning opportunities K had this week away.
A little bit of physical education as he RAN around the house being chased by his cousin in the wagon!
He confronted his fears daily until he was OK to run and play on the beach!
He enjoyed rest time…
Fun water play in the baby-pool…
A little Play Doh on the front porch…
A bit of coloring with his cousin, also had MANY lessons in sharing this week as they are only 4 months apart!
He got to build his very own dump truck at Ridemakerz…
And he rode his first rides and LOVED every minute!!!
We had fun for a few days with our home-made sea turtle…
complete with baby pool in the middle!!

This one too. He was cute this time, lining all of the letters up!

P got this cool
K always asks us to write K’s for him…

Here he is fishing for letters…

I originally got one of these
And shook them all around and then he dumped them!
We had a fun night at Chick Fil A this week with my friend
Command central, our table. We do everything here! The table itself is from Ikea, as are the stools, the table trays (which I got a new one for Pac Man for this year), and even the trash can!! I am fortunate that Krash does leave the table trays alone. He is a wild child but is obedient for the most part so he usually stays out of them.
Here we have our drawers, P’s storage board, files with P’s school books, our cd player, cd basket, and a storage box. If you want to know what is in the drawers I tell about them on the video linked above.
Here’s a close up of P’s board…Krash can’t reach this!
We finally hung the dry erase board up on the wall, a task on the to-do list all last year!!!
This is our back door, which has been changed a bit, I added some hooks to the wall too.
Look, the dark hole is clean!!!!!
REALLY clean!!! I am praying I can keep it this way!!! Sitting on top of the radiator, are
These are the shelves lining the other wall…
This is the Tot School shelf, if you want to know what’s on it, check out my

Final shelf…
My board close up…
It feels so good to have it all ready, I feel SO much better than I did last year! I am praying I have organized it in a way that I can keep it clean. I tried to get rid of lots of junk we don’t use to simplify what is in there. We’ll see!
I will give an update after we are a bit further into the lessons, but after day 1, I can say it was a success and I recommend it!
